Shikishi Issues 2009

lightly warped shikishi Normally, boards drawn with ink and Copic markers remain flat, but some of the shikishi (as noted in the Shikishi Notes 2009 section) have light warping, possibly due to humidity or not being stored flat. This is Noriko Otake's shikishi, but is typical of what we mean when we note "light warping".

heavily warped shikishi Masahiro Kimura's shikishi are typically heavily warped due to the moisture from the watercolor wash used as part of the painting process.
